Hounds Tooth Distillery committed to produce premium quality Bruny Island Whisky. This single cask malt whisky is handcrafted on Bruny Island, Tasmania, in the Southern Hemisphere.
Our distillery and bond store sit above Bligh’s Rocks, in clear view of Hounds Tooth Rock, located off the coast of Adventure Bay. Swept by the roaring forties, Bruny Island is renown for its clean air and temperate climate. 
The creation of our whisky begins with the malting of the highest grade Tasmanian barley, which is then carefully fermented using pristine local rain water. Distillation takes place in a Tasmanian-made copper pot still and the resulting spirit is then matured in small, locally made Port or Sherry, French Oak barrels. The maturation process produces a delicate, golden, high quality malt whisky.
